Look What We Got!!!
Mum and Dad bought a few things over with them... one of them was this amazing present from Avril!!
We absolutely love it and are sure that it will be loved by all....
We also had great fun looking through all the clothes and bits Aaron and Anna sent over for us. It was like Christmas!

An Update for 13th February
I thought it was again time for an update.... firstly I wish to apologise for my lack of entries since September...... I promise I will try harder to stay up to date.
My first and only excuse is that I have been busy.
The morning sickness made me not sick, but very tired for the first 22 weeks, but I have not been suffering as much lately and am starting to find time again to do things...like update blogs... whereas before work and sleep were about the only two possible to do if I wanted to stay sane.
In week 28 now (or 27 weeks), and am trying to make the most of my extra energy before it disappears again, which is coming in quite handy as there is lots to prepare for as well as packing for the big move...finally!
So what has happened since my last blog update?
Firstly... and most importantly Marty and I got married on 25th September. It was an amazing and perfect wedding and we even had 24 degree weather and beautiful sunshine.
We then had a nice little honeymoon travelling the length of the UK visiting all those that weren't able to make the wedding.
October was fairly quiet as the tiredness really kicked in.... and November was fairly similar but saw me reach 12 weeks which was a big weight off my mind.
December saw a massive Phillips family Christmas as always, and January my 31st birthday! 31... maybe I should start realising that I am an adult now and that even though I still feel like a teenager it is no longer the case!!!! I would have thought a baby on the way and a mortgage would do it, but my inner child is still definitely ruling.. actually... I like it that way!
February now and the house is really taking shape and I was so excited when I saw the parquet today that I started jumping up and down, and now just can't wait to move in.
Here are a few photos, but I will try and get some of the wedding on as soon as I can.

August Holiday
Busy, Busy, Busy.
We started off spending a few days with Linda, and then went to the wedding of David and Kelly in Buckingham.
We then all drove down to Aaron and Anna's for a BBQ, and Marty and I stayed for a couple of days.

The next journey was to Norwich where we stayed for 1 week. We did loads of shopping for the wedding, and saw lots of Claire and Tasha. We even spent a lot of time reading. In 3 days I read all the Twilight books, and Marty read the first three. We even spent a day on Southwold where Marty's dad's parents used to live and take him on holiday.
After Norwich we got the train to Dunkeld to pick up Marty's wedding ring. We stayed at Tayburn House which was just a few minutes walk from the Cathedral. Half of it has been rebuilt but half of it left in it's original state so it is quite bizarre.
Next to Edinburgh to see Marty's grandparents. We were only there for an afternoon and evening and we had to leave to go to the airport at 4am.
We took the 7am flight to Belfast and drove around the Coast Road to go to see the rope bridge and the Giant's Causeway.

It rained so much and everyone took shelter, so Marty took the opportunity to get some photo's of the Causeway with no-one on it.

As we were quite wet after that we went to the B&B Maddy Benny's, and thought we would have a quick nap. We woke up 4 hours later and just managed to find somewhere to eat dinner.
After a fantastic breakfast we left the B&B and took the car back to the airport. From there we took the bus to Newcastle where we met up with Cat, Gilles and Gwen.
We helped Cat & Gilles sort out the tables for the reception, and then went for dinner with Gwen, Nigel and Nigel's mum. Then back to the pub to meet up with all the people who had travelled for the wedding.
The next morning Marty had quite a bad hangover so we had breakfast and then walked up Sleeve Donard, and went to see the Ice House.

We just got back down in time to get changed for the wedding!!!!
It was a really nice service and then photos in the local park, and then to the hall on the seafront for the reception. The food was good, as was the company, and the Irish and Alsacian dancing, and singing really made it a fantastic evening.

The next morning we got up and took the bus to Dublin and then got the transfer bus to the hotel. We spent the afternoon asleep and then went down to the bar to have some Guinness and dinner.
We flew back the next day absolutely shattered!!!!

Wedding Dress Shopping
Emma, (bridesmaid), Roberta, Jess and I went dress shopping on Saturday morning. Having tried on 9 dresses we narrowed it down to two. We called in the experts.... Mum, Dad, Frank and Christine. I knew the right one when Dad started getting little tears in his eyes... although he would say it was just because it was hot in the shop and the sweat ran to his eyes a bit......
A lovely day... having found my dream dress.... was followed by a girly champagne lunch and bbq with lots of alcohol and food........
We ended up staying at Emma's, (Steve was on his Stag weekend), for the whole of the next day enjoying the sunshine in the garden, and again the next night, and stayed again the next day, (Steve returned and Marty helped him digging the garden).
A lovely weekend, with lovely friends, lovely weather, lovely food and lots and lots of girly chat, films, wine, bubbly and chocolates!!!
