Sky Dive 19th August

We finally managed to get a break in the weather, and Marty got to do his jump! Not only did he sky dive, but he flew!

As Marty had already done a tandem jump, Yannik, the instructor thought he would give him a new experience.....

Once out of the plane, they "flew" at speeds up to 170mph!!!!

All Marty had to say after he landed was "God, that hurt my nuts!!!!"

The weather turned again, and was not good enough for me to jump, so we went for lunch at a pizzeria in Wiltz, but the rain came down, and my jump was postponed until next week.

Oh well, another week with my feet firmly on the ground.

Trier 15th August

As it was a Bank Holiday and Luxembourg was closed, Mum, Dad, Emilie and I decided to take a trip to Trier.

Driving would have been a nightmare so we decided to take the train.

Emilie loved the journey (as did Dad), and we arrived in the centre of Trier, without having to worry about finding a parking space!!!

We headed straight for the fish and chip shop for lunch, and then went to the toy shop.

After, we had coffee and ice cream, and took the train home again.... all stress free... definitely the way to go.

Le Pigeonier

As Marty is going to Portugal tomorrow we decided to go an amazing restaurant - Le Pigeonier, in Bascharage. Mum and Dad said it was wonderful but that was the understatement of the year!!!

Just have a look at these photo's - all amazing and worth every cent!!!

Nature One August 2007

Time to go off again for another festival. This one was a bit closer to home. It was in an old US missile base just about 50km past Hahn, Germany. 50,000 people camping for two nights and attending one massive techno party.

May sound awaful, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There were about 20 diffferent tents with dfferent music / DJ's, and every type of food and drink you can imagine. You could even bungy jump for 5 euro!!!! (One guy did it totally naked, which was very painful to watch!!).

The music was brilliant, my favortite being Carl Cox, and the lazer shows were incredible. There was even a fire works display on the second night.
Very little sleep was had, but it was worth it. We even manged to find a little stream in the forest at the back of the camp site. More pictures are on my Facebook if you want to have a look!
